Prompt Payment Overview

Service Alberta formally introduced Bill 37: The Builders’ Lien (Prompt Payment) Amendment Act in the legislature last fall and it received royal assent on December 9, 2020. Regulations are currently under development. The following is an overview of the upcoming changes.
