Public Health Emergency

On November 24, the Government of Alberta declared a public health emergency. Stronger public health measures are required to protect the health care system, schools, businesses and the vulnerable.

The new restrictions include:

• No indoor social gatherings in any setting
• Outdoor gatherings max of 10
• No events
• Working from home should be considered, where possible
• Restricted access to some businesses starting Nov. 27
• Mandatory masks for indoor workplaces
