Business Resilience through the COVID-19 Crisis

Growing concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic as well as and its impacts on our members and Alberta’s economy are unprecedented. All BILD Alberta work has shifted to identifying solutions that will help member companies navigate through these incredibly challenging times.

BILD Alberta, CHBA National and local associations across the province will be engaging with their Boards and all levels of government to develop recommendations that will help mitigate job losses and potential business insolvencies. In addition to immediate actions that can be taken, we are working on initiatives that will help the industry and provincial economy recover once the pandemic has subsided. Working with the government to protect your businesses and employees is our highest priority at this time.

Below you will find a link to a letter we sent Minister Kaycee Madu on Monday. BILD Alberta and local associations will continue engaging to the Premier’s Office and other relevant Ministries in the days, weeks and months to come.

Letter to Minister Madu

We thank everyone for attention and patience during these trying times. Our commitment to our members has not changed, and the Staff and Board of BILD Alberta will continue to work towards our industry’s best interests. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our Executive Director, Scott Fash.
